I am a graduate of Old Dominion University, the mother of three absolutely wonderful young adults, and the caretaker of three really neat cats.

I have always had a love of music and from an early age I started a musical journey that included singing , playing guitar, playing piano, and performing on stage, which finally led to my becoming a music teacher.

My philosophy for teaching music is that students should be able to learn and have fun while doing so. "If it isn't fun, then why do it?"
